In New Jersey, Marketplace health coverage (Obamacare/ACA) is enrolled through Get Covered NJ, your state's own exchange.
New Jersey doesn’t use healthcare.gov: it runs its own marketplace, Get Covered New Jersey, open through January 31. For coverage starting January 1, you must enroll by December 31. Get Covered New Jersey
If your income is low, the state program is called NJ FamilyCare.
When you can enroll
Open enrollment runs November 1 through January 31. Outside that window you need a qualifying event, such as moving, losing coverage or having a child.
If you have no qualifying event or don’t qualify for financial help, there are private health plans you can sign up for in any month of the year.
